UnDomestic

Writings of a teachermom, choosing to stay home with her kids, while loathing all domestic responsibilities! In late Aug. 2008, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer. After surgery, chemo and radiation, I was given theall clear. However, in the late summer of 2008, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which metasticized to other areas.

Happy Easter

Here's a picture of Max who always dresses so nicely.

Cameron made a headband for himself and our nanny's baby. Don't they look adorable!

Ella enjoyed collecting eggs! She was the only one not whining that she wasn't getting enough!

We had a good weekend. I got to go to church, and I hadn't been there in a few weeks. So that felt good.

Also my mom made an awesome Easter dinner with ham, sweet potato casserole, corn, asparagus, macaroni & cheese, crescent rolls. All very yummy.

Still can't walk. And tomorrow I'm getting another blood or platelet transfusion. Maybe it will give me more strength.

Matthew 12:15 Great multitudes followed (Jesus), and healed them all.

Luke 6:19 The whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virture out of him, and healed them all.

Cari, it is so good to hear that you are home. I was concerned that you or your Mom hadn't posted since Thursday.

Cari,
How nice to see that you were able to post a note on your blog today. I'm so glad you were at home for Easter. Your dinner sounds yummy! Keep up the fight! I'm walking the Woodbury Relay for Life, and raising money to fight this god-awful disease. You'll be on my mind and are always in my prayers.
Love, Nancy

Psalm 107:28-30

Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble,
and He brought them out of their distress.

He stilled the storm to a whisper;
the waves of the sea were hushed.

They were glad when it grew calm,
and He guided them to their desired haven.

praying for you...rydens

Oh sweet girl - keep reaching for the hem of Jesus garment - and grab hold of it!!

As Beth Moore says:
[until] We trade His hem for Him!

May His Healing Hand or hem - touch your body this day!
