UnDomestic

Writings of a teachermom, choosing to stay home with her kids, while loathing all domestic responsibilities! In late Aug. 2008, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer. After surgery, chemo and radiation, I was given theall clear. However, in the late summer of 2008, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which metasticized to other areas.

BBBD Update

Cari had the first of 2 BBBD therapies at the U of M on Wed and again today at 7:40AM. First one's disruption was went very well. When she got back to her room and started waking up one of the first things she asked for was "food". That is a very good sign. As always, please keep her in your prayers that today's procedures is successful and that she will be on her way home tomorrow.

To Cari's mom, Thank you so much for taking the time to update us on Cari. I check her blog daily and she is constantly on my mind and in my prayers.
To Cari, May you feel the love and comfort of all who are lifting you up in prayer. I hope and pray these BBBD are successful and you will be home soon with your family.
Love, Nancy
PS. I hope the hat fits (it was my first attempt at a cap; hence the lumps in the yarn) :)

Nancy, Cari just loved her new "Easter" bonnet. Appropriate color for the season and looks beautiful with her blue eyes. You did a wonderful job but most of all made much love. Thank you.

Romans 8:11 (New Living Translation)
11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
