UnDomestic

Writings of a teachermom, choosing to stay home with her kids, while loathing all domestic responsibilities! In late Aug. 2008, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer. After surgery, chemo and radiation, I was given theall clear. However, in the late summer of 2008, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which metasticized to other areas.

Feeling Better

Nothing like a little church to get me out of my funk.

I wish every day was Sunday!

And the worship was so good today. No sad sappy songs to make me cry...just exciting uplifting music fighting that spiritual warfare surrounding us.

But I'm sure there's always good worship in your home with your beautiful voices!

Dana,
Yeah, Max was fine. At first he was laughing. Then he was sorta whining. "No. You look silly!" And he wasn't happy, but he got over it quickly. Then the owner came over and told Max to be quiet...and he wasn't any louder than a normal person talking. This was with Sara and Melvin standing right there. Needless to say, once I'm done with this stupid wig (that I don't even wear), I will NOT be returning to this kid-unfriendly Uptown salon again...I don't care if their claim to fame is that they appeared on Oprah! Some sensitivity could have been used.

Okay, well my original thought was to comment about how worship service in church always seems to bring a sense of peace and calm. I felt that way too yesterday when I attended church. I just got into the worship and everything else seemed so minute. God's presence must have been covering every worship temple in full force yesterday to provide us all with the comfort of His love.

But on to this uptown salon and its rude treatment of little Max. Do I need to come to MSP and have a talk with them? You know that I have no problem letting the eastside of Detroit come out when necessary! I don't let that side show to often but for you, I will let it out. (Smile)
