Writings of a teachermom, choosing to stay home with her kids, while loathing all domestic responsibilities! In late Aug. 2008, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer. After surgery, chemo and radiation, I was given theall clear. However, in the late summer of 2008, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which metasticized to other areas.
Looks like I won't be having the BBBD therapy. The doctor said he wouldn't do it if there wasn't improvement. Well, the MRI showed that the cancer is worse in the spine. Now we need to look at some different chemo. The good news is that there is no new cancer in the brain.

Teacher for 8 years...staying home to care for the kids...2 boys and one girl. Cameron - 8, Max -- 5, Ella - 3 In August 2007, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, and now dealing with all the ramifications of it including a brain tumor. And now it has gone to the spine. But I continue to have faith and praise God!

Praying that the new chemo will get rid of what's in the spine and thanking God that nothing new was found in the brain! Keep the faith!
