Morning Masterpiece

Max had decided to get out the art supplies and make some pictures. Ella was sitting up on the table with him applying the stamp pad ink to her face.
Writings of a teachermom, choosing to stay home with her kids, while loathing all domestic responsibilities! In late Aug. 2008, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer. After surgery, chemo and radiation, I was given theall clear. However, in the late summer of 2008, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which metasticized to other areas.

Love it! Kurt did the same thing this weekend and woke up to find crayon in places you would never even think about coloring on... YIKES,,,
I don't know what is going on with the early morning risings because NyCee decided that 1:00am would be a good time to wake up and 4:00am would be a good time to go back to sleep.
I hate it for her because as tired as I was, I woke her up at 8:00am.--her normal wake up time. Maybe the kids have some kind of internal cousin telepathy that we don't know about where they send signals to one another to get up in the middle of the night to torture us.
Been there so many times - I have learned that green and blue markers come off toddler's faces, somehow orange isn't quite as easy to remove.
Our 18mnth old also seems to be in the early morning rising phase - 5am is a horrible hour to be up with the toddler and the newborn.
This too shall pass.
That's so cute.
They can get into trouble quickly, can't they.
