After surgery, chemo and radiation, I was given theall clear. However, in the late summer of 2008, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which metasticized to other areas.
Yesterday morning Max was joking around with me telling me that he was my brother, or he was my sister, or he was my mother, etc.

Teacher for 8 years...staying home to care for the kids...2 boys and one girl. Cameron - 8, Max -- 5, Ella - 3 In August 2007, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, and now dealing with all the ramifications of it including a brain tumor. And now it has gone to the spine. But I continue to have faith and praise God!

Kids are amazing at times in how they perceive things. Reminds me of when my sister, my cousin, Nia and I (Nia was 2) where on our way to Miami to the Orange Bowl (Penn State was playing and our brother was there). I kept telling Nia, "We're almost to Miami Beach, just a little while longer." We finally get to the city limits, and Cookey said, "Nia, we're at Miami Beach!" Nia looks at her and says, "It's not YOUR Ami Beach, it's Mommy's Ami Beach!" We lost it for about 10 minutes!
