Writings of a teachermom, choosing to stay home with her kids, while loathing all domestic responsibilities! In late Aug. 2008, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer. After surgery, chemo and radiation, I was given theall clear. However, in the late summer of 2008, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which metasticized to other areas.
Had chemo treatment today. Lab results were better than they have been in a long time. Even though I have not been able to write thank you notes, I appreciate what everyone has been doing for me. Will continue with treatments the rest of the week and will be meeting with my oncologist.

Teacher for 8 years...staying home to care for the kids...2 boys and one girl. Cameron - 8, Max -- 5, Ella - 3 In August 2007, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, and now dealing with all the ramifications of it including a brain tumor. And now it has gone to the spine. But I continue to have faith and praise God!

Nice to hear some good news about your treatments. You have had to go through so much. I know that you know that God is with you through it all.

It is almost midnight and I should be sleeping, I have the 3day walk tomorrow,sat and sunday. I wanted you to know Cari that you are and will always remain my hero. I have printed off your blog picture of you sipping some great drink. Your picture is behind my badge that I will wear. This walk is for you!!!!!! Hopefully Melvin can get out to see some of it.
